CAALYX (Complete Ambient Assisted Living Experiment, 1st Jan 2007-31st Dec 2008) is a two-year project funded by the European Commission (EC) under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). (Total EC contribution to CAALYX is €1,850,000.00 Euros.) It has a total of eight participants (see figures below – Telefonica is Coordinator), based in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, UK and Ireland.
